-
State-issued fines amounting to hundreds of thousands of dollars against four insurance companies, following his in-depth investigation into a family's struggle for coverage of autism care.

-
Helping free a wrongfully imprisoned American citizen in Mexico.
Joe worked as a television news producer and writer for eight-and-a-half years at KTTV and KABC in Los Angeles before making the leap to on-air reporting. He worked as a reporter at WEAR in Pensacola, Florida for more than two years before joining KATU as an investigative reporter and fill-in anchor for five-and-a-half years in his hometown of Portland, Oregon.
Prior to becoming a broadcaster, Joe and his writing partner sold a screenplay.
Since leaving television news, Joe has applied those same skills to legal video production, helping attorneys tell their clients' stories at mediation and beyond.
